[Aleph] Big in Aleph about \fam

Hi,

While using some of the few used extensions of Omega, I found something
that sounds like being a bug...

One of the interesting extensions of Omega is to be able to use 16bits
fonts, and to be able to use 256 math-families instead of 16. The
modifications work quite right with \omathcode, \textfont, and so on.
But \fam is buggy. Something like:

\font\try=ectt1000 at 1cm
\textfont18=\try
$ \fam18 x $

Does not produce the expected result. A single patch in the definition
of "fam_in_range" in om16bit.ch seems to be enough to solve the problem.

PS: I'm also looking around about a bug in the DVI files produced by
Aleph, but I don't have yet enough data about it.
