[Dev-luatex] Problems with --lua-switch

Hello,

I have writen a small init.lua-file which sets the package.path so that
the lua-scripts can be found.

I'm calling this init.lua with

luatex --lua=init.lua --fmt=pdfluatex <file>

That works fine but has the side effect that memory settings like e.g.
param_size are no longer taken from the texmf.cnf but are reset to
their default (in this case to 60). Is this expected? Do I have to set
the texconfig-table if I load such a init-file?
