[NTG-context] latest beta and \doifnotallmodes

\doifnotallmodes{mode1,mode2,mode3}{
defaultmode instructions
}
gets the following error message:

whereas \startmode[defaultmode]

runs without incident.
Am I misusing \doifnotallmodes? This used to work.
