Oh! My God!!! Such a big change~ So are you sure the code is stable enough?
btw, If we insist to use the mplib, why not make mpost a symbol link
to LuaTeX in TeXLive 2008?
(just revise a few code of LuaTeX, make it behave like metapost when
mpost is called, lua when texlua is called, **tex when **tex is
called)
