My PDF file sizes (using 2011.10.01 10:48):

  ConTeXt : 978k
  inkscape -A : 75k
  inkscape --export-dpi=600 -A : 978k

So it seems that the dpi parameter passed by ConTeXt to Inkscape is
responsible for the huge size increase.
